B. Course Description
This course is concerned with the human person as an embodied subjectivity. The main question would be "what Makes man truly human?" Answering this question involves a reflection on these experiences which are fundamental to human reality such as freedom, inter-human, love, death and the absolute.
C. Course Objectives
1. To understand that philosophy is a way of life.
2. Students should be able to develop the ability for wise judgment toward becoming more human.
3. Students should be able to think critically.
4. To be able to write reflection papers on freedom, inter-human, love, death and the absolute.

1. Attendance
2. Reflection Paper
3. Group Paper/Presentations
4. Long Examinations (Take Home Exams and Unannounced Exams)
5. Two Major Examinations (Midterm and Final Exams)
G. Grading System 60/40
1/3 First Quarter Class Standing:
1/3 Second Quarter 40% Long Examinations
1/3 Final Examination 30%GroupPresentations
3/3 Total Final Grade 30% Reflection Paper
H. Classroom Policies
1. The Academic regulations on promptness and attendance will be strictly observed.
2. Plagiarism shall not be tolerated. Please value intellectual honesty.
3. Deadlines for the submission of requirements shall be strictly enforced.
